Sunrise at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool [V3]
If you are interested in purchasing prints or licensing this photo, please visit my profile on VAST Photos https://vastphotos.com/artist/tim-lo-monaco / I’ve always considered Washington, D.C. a very tourist-friendly city as so many of the sights can be seen with a good pair of walking shoes and time to spend. It’s a straight shot from the Lincoln Memorial (situated immediately behind where I took this photo) all the way to the U.S. Capitol Building with many places to visit in between. While the obvious view at the Reflecting Pool would be a centered Washington Monument, I always thought it was a captivating perspective from the edges as you can have a great view of the U.S. Capitol as well, not to mention the World War II Memorial at the opposite end of the Reflecting Pool.
